With eight waterslides, four restaurants and a clutch of stylish rooms that would get Kirsty Allsop grinning, the Eftalia Aqua Resort definitely has the oooh factor.

Dig out the swimmers - there’s wet and wild fun laid on at Eftalia Aqua Resort. If you like life in the fast lane, this place has loads to get the adrenaline pumping. The resort has got eight slides for adults, including the Black Hole and the Boomerango. On the Boomerango, you’ll sit in an inner-tube that’ll float down a steep drop, swoosh up a vertical wall and then zoom backwards into a splashdown pool. But if this doesn’t float your boat, there’s also a multi-lane slide, super slide and swirl bowl slide. If you’re travelling with little ones, don’t worry, they’ve got their own area and slides. When the day’s all over, it’s dead easy to get back to your room, which looks like something out of a décor mag thanks to its neutral soft furnishings, honey-coloured timber and patterned wallpaper. And, even better, dinner is taken care of at the buffet or the two à la carte restaurants.
