With its beachfront setting and gourmet dining, the adults-only El Dorado Royale offers a little bit of indulgence.

There’s no shortage of luxuries at the El Dorado Royale Spa Resort. For starters, the suites feature oversized whirlpool baths, king-size beds and terraces with hammocks. Plus, you can upgrade to a swim-up suite or one overlooking the Caribbean Sea.

Outside, there are 13 swimming pools spread around the massive gardens. Most have a swim-up bar serving cocktails, and are skirted by sunloungers and palm trees. What’s more, they’re all just a few strides from the sandy beach.

As for food, you’ve got eight All Inclusive restaurants to choose from. The buffet breakfasts come courtesy of the Cocotal restaurant or palapa-style La Isla. For lunch or dinner, you can tuck into fresh seafood at the beach grill, eat Italian at the plush D’Italia or share some sushi at Kampai. And for the ultimate romantic experience, book a candlelight dinner on the beach, sitting at a table for two in a cabana by the sea.
