Living Room details
With its Buddha statues, water fountains and chic interiors, the Living Room is a boutique hotel with a laid-back, bohemian edge.
The Living Room is a modern property just ten minutes’ walk from the markets and restaurants in Vagator. The town’s white-sand beach is a little bit further on, but if you don’t fancy the walk, there’s a handy shuttle bus that’ll whisk you there and back three times a day.
The hotel is stylish and contemporary, but still retains a touch of old-world Goa, thanks to the ponds and Buddha statues that freckle the grounds. The reception area is styled with neutral walls, glass panelling and chunky wicker furniture. As for the bar, it teams exposed brick walls with funky lilac lighting. There’s also a DJ booth for night-time entertainment.
Relaxing is made easy here. Outside, you’ll find a swimming pool framed by cushioned sunbeds. And, you can book in-room massages at reception – deep tissue, ayurvedic and Balinese are among your options.
