This attractive, peach-coloured property is just a five-minute stroll from the centre of picturesque Assos, a charming village on the north coast of Kefalonia. Perfect for a peaceful break, you’ll find plenty of inviting spots dotted around the waters edge. Along the harbourside, tavernas set their tables out under oleander trees, while the shallow waters of the bay are ideal for a dip after a walk up to the ruined fort on the hilltop.

The property itself is a lovely detached design with traditional bright-blue shutters and a pan-tiled roof. Step inside and you’ll find a simple and spacious layout of whitewashed walls and cool tiled flooring. On the ground level, there’s a well-equipped kitchen and an open-plan living and dining area. And leading from here is an attractive terrace where you can indulge in an al fresco meal while drinking in the expansive views of Assos’ bay.

On the upper level, you can enjoy the same striking snapshot from one of the bedroom’s balconies. There are two bedrooms altogether, both twins decorated in a calm combination of whitewashed walls and pastel-patterned bedspreads.
