This All-Inclusive resort is in a prime location with Bounty-like beaches on the doorstep.

The Riu Cancun, which will be getting refurbished for late July 2014, is set on a white-sand beach just 15 minutes’ walk from Cancun's nightclubs and bars. There are 2 shopping malls just footsteps away, too.

Back at the hotel, you've got 3 swimming pools to choose from. Two come with a whirlpool bath, and another has a swim-up bar. You'll also find plenty of sun terraces, accessorised with loungers and umbrellas, as well as tables and chairs for al fresco lunches.

There are four onsite restaurants in total – 2 buffets and 2 à la cartes – which serve up a great range of local and international cuisine. Breakfast includes hot and cold dishes, while lunch features favourites like pizzas, pasta and salad. Last but not least, dinner brings a choice of Brazillian Rodizio, Grill and Steakhouse and Japanese restaurants.

All rooms are elegantly dressed in bold colours, sleep up to 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children up to 12 yrs with 1 king-size or 2 double beds and have air-conditioning, ceiling fan, flatscreen satellite TV, alarm clock, phone, minibar, liquor dispenser, iron and board, hairdryer, balcony and most have a sea view.
