Amygdalia Cottage details
Backed by woodlands, this home-away-from-home is all about recharging the batteries. The set-up’s traditional Greek and it’s an ideal couple’s retreat. However, a child can sleep on the lounge’s sofa bed. Romantics will love the whitewashed walls, wrought-iron double bed and exposed stone walls. And the air-conditioned living area’s open-plan and the kitchen has all the basics covered.
Outside, the paved patio and its cream and timber deckchairs are made for lazy afternoons. The outdoor barbecue’s perfect for sunset al fresco meals and the L-shaped pool will cool you off any hour of the day or night.
For holiday essentials or a taverna meal, Magazia’s only a short drive away. Paxos’s main town of Gaios and Kaki’s pebble beach are 10-minute car trips. And, for something a little physical, the walk to Erimitis Caves takes about 45-minutes, but is well worth the effort.
