This place combines the peace and quiet of a villa break, with the facilities you’d expect from a hotel – you’ll find a spa and a restaurant just footsteps away.

Set on a 50-acre farm and flanked by olive trees, pines and fruit groves, the Aresti Luxury Villas have taken the term ‘rural retreat’ to another level. That’s not to say you’re cut off from everything here, though. It’s just over a ten-minute drive to reach Zante town centre, 20 minutes to the beach and the nearest shops and restaurants are only ten minutes away.

As for the villas themselves, they’ve got a really rustic vibe, with traditional stone, wooden windows and Venetian doors forming the exteriors. Inside, expect pine ceilings, stone walls and carved-wood furnishings throughout. Home comforts have been ticked off, too, like TVs, DVD players and cosy fireplaces. Kitchens, meanwhile, come with all the usual mod-cons, as well as nice-to-haves like coffee-making machines.

Each villa also has a private pool. They’re set in a stone terrace, surrounded by wooden loungers and palm-dotted gardens, so you’ve get plenty in the way of privacy. Best of all, the partially-shaded terrace means al fresco meals are taken care of.

The star attraction of this place, though, is the fact you get all the facilities of a hotel, as well as the peace and quiet of a villa. Head to the main farm area, and you’ll find mini-football, mini-basketball and billiards. Plus, there’s a spa if you fancy splashing out on a treatment. Last but not least, the restaurant is really popular. The staff will even deliver the food to your villa if you like.
