Atlantida Apartments have an uncomplicated approach to holidays. The formula is simple - basic self-catering accommodation with the added bonus of hotel-style facilities.

The apartments themselves are spacious and simply-styled with whitewashed walls and sturdy wooden furniture. They all come with well-equipped kitchenettes and either a balcony or terrace. And the washing machine in the bathroom is a nice-to-have extra. There’s also a TV in the living area, but it costs a little extra to watch certain channels.

On the food and drink front, this place has got a surprise up its sleeve. There’s a rainforest themed restaurant here, complete with tree trunk pillars, and a vine-covered rock roof. And that’s on top of a café, lobby bar and cave bar.

But it’s the pools that are the real talking point. There are two to choose from. They’re all surrounded by plenty of sunbeds, and there are two kids sections for the little ones to paddle in.

As for where you’ll find the apartment, they’re about a five minute walk from Los Cristianos beach and slightly further away from the centre. Plus, Playa de las Americas is less than 10 minutes down the coast by car – perfect if you fancy a frothier night scene.
