Buenavista details
Roughly translated, Buenavista means ‘good view’, which is a pretty accurate name for this place. Perched on a hillside and surrounded by gardens, the property offers up sweeping vistas of the Mediterranean Sea. When you want to explore, the shops, restaurants and bars of Santa Eulalia are less than a ten-minute walk away – just follow the downhill steps to reach them.
Back at the hotel, you’ll find a swimming pool bordered by loungers and palms. There’s a fish pond out here, and oriental-style statues dot the surrounding gardens, so it’s every inch the tranquil set-up. Come evening, it’s all candlelit, so head out here with a cocktail after dinner.
When it comes to your own private space, the décor is really rustic, with whitewashed walls, comfy patterned armchairs and traditional dark-wood furnishings. White muslin drapes hang over the beds, as well, giving things a romantic feel.
