The ClubHotel Riu Tropicana is your ticket to getting away from it all. It’s a huge resort in a secluded spot on Majorca’s east coast, and it's got a sheltered beach on the doorstep. The buildings are spread over acres of gardens and forests, so you're well protected from the sounds of civilisation.
When you do want to get out and about, though, the bars and restaurant of Calas de Majorca are less than a 10-minute walk away. The path’s pretty rugged, so you’re best off taking a taxi at night.
Sports are a top priority at this hotel. When you’re not swimming in the huge pool you can play tennis and volleyball, try sailing, or practise your putting on the 18-hole minigolf course.
