The hotel is well located on the famous Sheikh Zayed Road opposite the Emirates Towers. It is just a short drive from Dubai airport, the deserts and beaches. The building stands on a main road.
## Rooms
The bedrooms are large with tasteful furnishings. Bathrooms are decorated in marble and are in excellent condition. All have 24 hour room service, mini fridges, and satellite tv. All are in very good condition.
## Restaurant
There are nine international restaurants and bars serving Japanese, Lebanese, English and American, Steaks, Polynesian, Italian - the variety of outlets in this property is quite astounding. The quality and variety of outlets is a huge selling point for this hotel.
## Exterior
The hotel has a very modern and impressive green glass and concrete facade overlooking Sheikh Zayed Road.
## Lobby
This is very large and imposing with high ceilings. The decor is rich and luxurious with marble floors, large mirrors and green leather seating areas.The lobby area leads to a number of restaurants. The lifts and reception area are the centre piece to the rear.
Hotel facilities include an open air pool and gymnasium, squash and tennis courts. There is a conference room (capacity 500), and a ball-room (capacity 1800) amongst other meeting rooms. An excellent hotel. TM 10/08
