You’ll find this place in the centre of Playa Paraiso. It’s great if you just want to recharge your batteries. Days are spent around the pool – it’s nice and big and has a whirlpool bath and bar to accompany it.

Make the 15-minute drive to Playa San Juan on a Wednesday and you’ll find its weekly market, which sells handicrafts, jewellery and clothes. Or, for the same time behind the wheel, you can visit Playa de las Americas.
