The Holiday Inn Resort is brilliant for families – it’s got countless activities and a location handy for Walt Disney World.
The Holiday Inn Resort is really well-placed for exploring Orlando. The property is just a 10-minute drive from Walt Disney World’s main entrance, so you’re close to all the theme parks. There’s a free shuttle bus each day that’ll save you driving, too. Plus, Downtown Disney, with its shops, restaurants and nightspots, is within easy reach.
Families are well catered for here, with a video games arcade, a playground, a basketball court and a cinema among the facilities. Outside, you’ll find a huge swimming pool. It’s edged by sky-high palm trees, and is the setting for outdoor ‘dive-in’ movie nights in the summer months.
If you don’t fancy heading out to eat, there’s an onsite Applebee’s. This place is famous for its larger-than-life steaks and burgers, but there are all sorts of other things, such as pasta, seafood and fresh salads on the menu.
