When it comes to location, this hotel comes up trumps. It’s just two minutes on foot from the beach of Santa Ponsa and only ten minutes more to its lively marina. What’s more, it’s in a pretty quiet area so you’ve got the best of both worlds.

As for the hotel itself, it’s a fairly intimate number with 64 rooms spread across 5 floors. The rooms are great slumber spots. Basic but comfy, they’re a smart combo of marble flooring, dark-green furniture and retro fabrics. You’ll also find air-conditioning and a sea or forest-view balcony thrown into the package.

On the ground floor, meanwhile, there’s a funky bar and restaurant area. Kitted out with sleek black furniture and a bold colour scheme, it’s a smart place for help-yourself breakfasts or a cocktail later in the day.

Elsewhere, the games room is a great extra but it’s the outdoor spots that grab top scores. Up on the roof you’ll find a chilled-out place to soak up some sun and the surrounding views. And tucked into the Med-style gardens on ground level is a cosy pool area decked out with loungers and parasols.
