With a beach nearby and nightlife on the doorstep, the Riu Don Miguel definitely scores points for location.

The Riu Don Miguel is right in the heart of things. It’s on Playa del Inglés’ main street, with bars and restaurants just footsteps away. The 3-kilometre-long main beach is a few minutes away on the hotel’s free shuttle bus, or a 20-minute walk.

The hotel will be exclusively for adults from November 2012, and there’ll be a brand new à la carte restaurant called Body’s opening at the same time. The hotel also has a buffet restaurant that’s impressed TripAdvisor reviewers with its wide range of dishes. You’ll find it near the pool, which is pretty big and has plenty of loungers on a terrace to one side.

Inside, the hotel has just been given a lick of paint, so you can expect everything to be nice and fresh. Bedrooms, for example, are decorated in white and pale purple, with contemporary prints on the walls and satellite TVs.
