The Jamaica Inn has been delivering friendly service and first-class facilities on the edge of a private beach for half a century.

Welcomes are warm at the Jamaica Inn, which has just been named one of the top hotels in the Americas by Conde Nast Traveler. This place has been run by the same family since the Fifties and it’s full of friendly faces, including 2 English cocker spaniels, which belong to the manager. The hotel’s facilities have been designed to help you unwind. When you’re not relaxing by the swimming pool or enjoying a game of croquet, you can make the most of the spa. The treatment list draws on the healing properties of local herbs and plants. Decorated in sea blue and white, the rooms are serene spaces, made even more tranquil by the absence of TVs, radios and clocks. Each room comes with a veranda, with a cosy sofa, wing chair, breakfast table and writing desk. The wine and dine scene revolves around a bar and a restaurant. In the former, bartenders serve up Red Stripe and stories. The restaurant, meanwhile, offers Jamaican and international fusion food in view of the sea.

Each suite has complimentary Wi-Fi, air-conditioning, ceiling fan, king-size or twin beds, bathrobes, balcony or large verandah complete with full sized sofa, wing chair and breakfast table. So you can fully relax there aren't any televisions, radios or clocks. Superior balcony suites are on the second floor with sea views.
