Kiotari Seaside details
You’ll find this hotel just footsteps from a sand and pebble beach. It’s quite a big place but because the accommodation is split between the main building and bungalows dotted around the grounds, its vibe is pretty low-key.
Style-wise, buildings are cube-shaped and whitewashed. Add gardens dotted with palms that sweep down to the beach, and the whole place is easy on the eye.
There are two pool zones. The first sits near the heart of the hotel, and is made up of four adult pools and one kids’ pool. A little wooden bridge leads to a tiny palm island and there’s a swim-up bar serving cocktails. The second area is much closer to the beach. It’s made up of two kidney-shaped pools – one for adults and one for kids - and has a quieter vibe.
Take a look inside and the bedrooms are fairly straightforward affairs. White walls give way to light-wood fittings and extras like TVs, and fridges. Plus, each room has a balcony or terrace with views across either the mountains, pools, gardens or sea.
Lastly, there’s the dining scene. The main restaurant here is a help-yourself place. Expect a mix of hot and cold dishes with Med and Greek twists. If you’re after more of an in-between snack, though, head to the Dionyssos taverna. It’s great for light bites like Greek cheese pies and sandwiches.
