Lithari details
This villa started out life as an olive press – you can still see the giant stone wheels that used to crush the fruit. And with its cobbled-stone walls and wooden window shutters, the property still feels really authentic.
There’s just as much character inside. In the living room, a wood-beamed ceiling and whitewashed walls frame traditional cabinets, a rocking chair and a cosy fireplace. There’s a TV and a DVD player in here, too, so you’ve got everything you need for nights in.
By day, the swimming pool is the main attraction. It’s set in a stone terrace that looks out over the sea and the mountains. Head around the corner, meanwhile, and you’ll find a shaded gazebo that’s perfect for open-air lunches.
In terms of location, you’re in a really peaceful spot. If you want to explore, though, Nissaki’s beach and town centre are less than a five-minute drive away.
