As you’d expect with a name like the Lively, this place is right at the heart of the action. It’s a two-minute walk from Magaluf’s main bar strip. And when it comes to hitting the sand, you can choose between Magaluf and Palma Nova beaches – both are walkable in a few minutes.

At the hotel itself, everything happens around the pool. It’s framed by four-poster Balinese-style sunbeds – you can squeeze at least four people on – and there are plenty of regular loungers, too. There’s a DJ out here every day, and the hotel lays on a foam party once a week.

Inside, the Lively is really contemporary. In the lobby, for example, you’ll find funky touches like neon lights and lime-green daybeds. It’s also where you’ll find the Lively bar, which is open all day and has an outdoor terrace. As for rooms, they’re pretty simple, ticking off basics like air-con and balconies, and some come with a pool view.
