The LUX* Grand Gaube sweeps around 3 sandy bays on Mauritius’ north coast. Its spacious grounds are groomed with tropical gardens only interrupted by 3 pools, which are all accompanied by sunloungers and parasols.
LUX* hotels are full of surprises, so keep your eyes peeled. The Secret Bar pops up unexpectedly in the gardens. And the hotel team hides glass bottles filled with secret messages around the grounds. Stumble across one, and you could be treated to a spa massage or a just-for-two dinner on the beach. The sands also host spontaneous film showings where chairs are swapped for bean bags and sofas.
The restaurants range from the lagoon-facing Abalone, where food is blazed on the barbecue, to the Banyan, which offers Mauritian street food. In the coffee shop, meanwhile, island-roasted beans are blended by a trained barista.

Please note that the Deluxe rooms and the Junior suites are exclusively for adults and the hotel does not accept bookings with chldren under 18 years. However, children are allowed access to the hotel facilities outside of the adults-only wing.

Deluxe rooms are in the adults-only wing, by the marina, and are only available from the Thomson group in the UK. They have air-conditioning, a double bed and an extra bed, TV, phone, minibar replenished with water, juice, soft drinks and beer and a balcony or terrace.
