Tropical forests shroud the Luxury Bahia Principe Sian Ka’an from the world, so guests can golf, spa and swim as if they’ve eloped.
You can drop off the radar at this adults-only hotel. A massive 1.1 million square metres of native vegetation, like red mangroves and mauo flowers, insulate this hotel from the rest of Mexico. That said, it’s only a 25-minute drive to Tulum if you want resurface at any time.
Four swimming pools, an 18-hole golf course and a luxury spa fight for the attention of guests in the daytime. But these facilities aren’t mutually exclusive. The spa, for example, offers a special after-golf treatment programme to sooth muscles after a stint on the greens. On top of all this, you can hop on the fun buggy and make the 15-minute journey to the beach, where the hotel has its own exclusive section of sand.
There are 3 restaurants at the hotel. While the menu in the main buffet restaurant mixes up international favourites, the a la cartes specialise in Japanese dishes, like sushi and spring rolls, or pan-European cuisine, like beef mignon and flambéed shrimp. If you want a change of scene, you’ll be more than welcome in some of the à la carte restaurants of the other Grand Bahia Principe properties in Akumal and Coba.
