This place has the best of both worlds. It’s in a quiet spot on a secluded white-sand beach, yet Patong is 10 minutes’ taxi ride away if you fancy some action. It’s got a really tropical feel to it, with acres of gardens and 3 big, lagoon-style pools. The list of activities is pretty exotic, too – try out things like massage courses, Thai cooking classes and batik painting. As for the food, the restaurants tick off Thai, Mediterranean and Italian cuisine, plus there are themed buffets with live entertainment in the evenings.
