Panorama Hotel details
The clue’s in the name with this place. Set on a hilltop, the Hotel Panorama looks out over the sandy beach in Mellieha Bay and the islands of Gozo and Comino in the distance.
Set in a residential area, the property gets its fair share of peace and quiet. But that doesn’t mean it’s in the middle of nowhere. The traditional restaurants and quaint cafés in Mellieha town centre are just a ten-minute walk away. Plus, there’s a regular bus service, which will take you to Valletta and Sliema within the hour.
There are just over 60 guest rooms at the hotel, so it never feels crowded. You won’t have to fight over the sunloungers that surround the swimming pool or wait for hours to order a Cisk beer at the bar.
When it comes to food, the buffet restaurant is a good place to try Malta’s national cuisine. The menu is small, but it’s updated daily.
