Both have their living spaces on the first floor and, from the lounge, you can see down the hill and to the sea. Plus, the first floor terrace is a special spot for a sunset aperitif. The kitchen’s got all the necessities, the living area has a satellite TV, DVD player and stereo and, like the double and twin bedrooms, is air-conditioned. For an added touch, the stone fireplace is made from locally-sourced material.

If you’re keen to explore Kamilari, the beach is a five-minute drive. The local taverna and mini-market are also quick car trips and, since the area’s known for its fruit and vegetable produce, foodies will love to mosey through the local shops.
