If you’re looking for a self-catering base with a lively edge, you’ll want to add the Planet Studios and Apartments to your shortlist. This complex is right in the middle of Tsilivi, so bars, restaurants and nightclubs are never more than a five to ten-minute walk away. The same goes for the beach.

As well as its location, the Planet’s other talking point is its sports bar. Billed as the ‘liviest spot in Tsilivi’, this popular watering hole is normally open late into the night with DJs spinning the decks well into the wee hours. If you want an early night, though, the soundproofed patio doors work wonders.

The apartments themselves cluster around a small swimming pool, complete with sunbeds and a snack bar. While the accommodation is fairly basic, it’s kept immaculately clean and is kitted out with all the essentials – the kitchenettes, for example, come with fridges, toasters, kettles and mini electric hob-come-ovens.
