With its beachfront location, lively pool scene and five restaurants, the Riu Palace Tropical Bay is the perfect place to escape to.

The Riu Palace Tropical Bay edges the white sands of Bloody Bay Beach, so you’re right on top of the Caribbean Sea. The whole property is surrounded by jungle-like greenery, too, so there’s a real air of privacy about the place.

In the heart of it all you’ll find two swimming pools, one of which comes with a swim-up bar and a whirlpool bath. They’re framed by glossy palms and thatched parasols, so things feel really tropical. And the pool scene buzzes during the day, with activities like water polo and aerobics laid on.

As for dining, it’s all about choice. You’ve got five restaurants to choose from, including a gourmet fusion eatery, an Italian trattoria and a Japanese à la carte. And in the main buffet restaurant, international favourites line up alongside local specialities like jerk chicken. For an extra special touch, glasses of fizz are handed out at breakfast each morning.
