The best thing about the Scorpios Beach is its location. As the name suggests, the property hugs a ribbon of sand, so you can spend time on the beach whenever you fancy. The complex is set in the heart of Monolithos, too, which means you’re only footsteps from the shops and restaurants.
The hotel itself is made up of low-rise whitewashed blocks, complete with green wooden window shutters and creeping bougainvillea. At the centre of the grounds you’ll find a swimming pool. It’s set in a sun-trap terrace and bordered by loungers and parasols. There’s also a bar out here, where you can pick up drinks and snacks.
As for accommodation, you’ve got apartments and studios to choose from. Both are fairly simple in terms of décor – expect plain white walls and smart wooden furnishings. Apartments sleep up to four, though, if you need a little more room.
