Two of the vilas in this complex - Villas Anemona and Ladania - are only available from the Thomson Group in the UK. They’re set on the outskirts of Coral Bay, overlooking the Bay of Potima, in a neighbourhood where banana and orange trees outnumber houses.

That said, the villas make it easy to get back on the beaten track. They’re just a five-minute drive from the bars, restaurants and shops in Coral Bay’s centre and the same distance from the nearest beach.

In terms of facilities, each villa comes with a private pool, which is surrounded by a sunbathing terrace. The properties have their own barbecues, as well, so you can cook in the sun.

Looks-wise, the properties are a mix of traditional and contemporary. You’ll find exposed stone pillars on the outside and contemporary wooden furniture on the inside. You can expect a good range of mod-cons, too, including washing machines, dishwashers and CD players.
