Views are the Swahili Beach’s forte. The hotel is set on the edge of Diani beach, so it overlooks the Indian Ocean. You get some of the best vistas from the hotel’s swimming pools. There’s a flight of them, spilling down a series of terraces.

The property’s proximity to the ancient spice routes has inspired its design, and aspects of Arabian, Swahilli and Indian architecture fuse through the hotel. The sea-view bedrooms hone in on the Swahili style. Carved wall niches and coral stone walls provide the setting for more modern features like rain showers and flatscreen TVs.

There are 4 restaurants at the hotel. The highlights include a seafood restaurant, raised 40 feet above the beach, an Indian eatery and a beach bar with its own shisha bar.
