The Villa Leda is surrounded by greenery, so it offers up plenty in the way of peace and quiet. Plus, it’s close to Latchi’s best bits – the resort’s shops, restaurants and beaches are less than a five-minute drive away.

At the property itself, the swimming pool is the scene-stealer. It’s a long, rectangular number that’s edged by loungers. What’s more, it looks out across fields and greenery, so the atmosphere is really relaxed. Better still, you’ll find a shaded gazebo and a barbecue out here, so lazy outdoor lunches are easily done.

Inside, the villa is geared up for a self-catering break. The kitchen, for example, comes equipped with basics like an oven and a dishwasher. It’s really roomy, too, and doubles up as a dining room and a lounge, with a TV, dining table and cosy sofas.
