The Villa Michelle is modern and spacious and ideal for groups of friends taking a holiday together - there are three double bedrooms and as many fully-equipped bathrooms - or a large family with older children who may have brought one of their mates along. There's a barbecue area outside the kitchen pointing to relaxed evenings around the pool and the shops, restaurants and supermarket are fifteen minutes away. There are also stairs in the villa.
Slightly further afield lies Albufeira, and it's a town worth exploring. It was founded by the Romans, but the Moors gave it the name Al-Buhera in the 12th century. Today it is divided into the old and new quarters of town and almost totally devoted to holiday-making heaven. As one of Portugal's most popular destinations it provides anything and everything the modern visitors could want.
