You’ll get plenty of peace and quiet when you stay at the Villa Prestige 5. It’s set on a headland on the outskirts of Albufeira, and it’s surrounded by sleepy countryside.

The property’s secluded position doesn’t mean it’s in the middle of nowhere, though. You can see Albufeira’s marina from its grounds, and the centre of town is just over a kilometre away. The beach, meanwhile, is a 5-minute car journey or a 15-minute walk.

In terms of facilities, the villa comes with a private swimming pool, a courtyard, which looks out over the sea, and a barbecue area.

Lookswise, the villa was refurbished a few years ago, so it’s really modern. A stylish red and black colour scheme runs throughout the property. There’s a hydro-massage bath in the double bedroom. And the contemporary kitchen comes with chrome cupboards, granite worktops and top-of-the-range appliances.
