Villa Ta' Cenc details
This villa is ideal if you want to get away from it all. It’s on the outskirts of Sannat, so peace and quiet are a given. And because the village is so small, you’re only a short way from the main square, with its church, restaurants and shops. Plus, you’ve got the rugged cliffs of Ta’ Cenc and a small, pebbly bay nearby.
The villa itself is a picture of rustic charm. Honey-coloured stone and arched patio doors set the scene outside, while beamed ceilings and exposed-stone walls are the mainstays inside. Everything’s spread out over one floor, with a stone archway from the hall leading into the lounge. The lounge itself is a quirky, asymmetric shape, with a cushioned rattan sofa and armchairs gathered in the middle and a dining area to one side. Another archway opens onto a small, country kitchen, where you’ll find all the self-catering essentials – an oven, hob, fridge and microwave.
As for bedrooms, there are two twin rooms, each with exposed beams, pine furniture and a ceiling fan. One comes with its own en suite, and the other has the use of a separate shower room.
Back outside, there’s a paved terrace framing a small swimming pool. Circled by walls, it’s a really private space. You’ll find sunloungers and a big parasol out here, too. Last but not least, there’s a little barbecue area tucked into one corner, which comes complete with a patio table for al fresco dining.
