The first thing that strikes you about this hotel is its location. It’s set alongside a gently winding river, so there’s an instant sense of calm to the place. And it looks out over a postcard-worthy stretch of sand, so the views are pretty special all round.
Inside things are just as good-looking. With crisp white walls and high ceilings throughout, everything feels fresh and modern. In the bedrooms, light-wood furniture and lime-and-plum fabrics create a funky feel. And there are two-bedroom family rooms if you need more space.
Wander through the hotel’s grounds and it’s all palm-lined paths and neat lawns dotted with hammocks. The main attraction is the lagoon-like pool that winds its way through it all, taking in three waterslides on the way. There are also two quieter pools plus two shallow numbers for children.
Elsewhere, there’s plenty to keep you busy. Tee off on the minigolf course, or pad down to the beach for a game of volleyball.
Food-wise, you’ll find meals served in the main buffet restaurant. And when you fancy a treat, try one of the à la carte restaurants. There’s a Turkish barbecue, an Italian eatery and a fish restaurant – and you get a free visit to one of them as part of your stay.
