You don’t have to choose between beach and pool at the Azul Fives – the main pool is right next to the sand. It’s an infinity number with a whirlpool bath, and there are three others as well, all with their own bars. Indoors, the bedrooms have a designer feel, with cream décor and dark-wood furniture, and rainforest showers in the bathroom. There’s a buffet restaurant with panoramic views of the jungle, plus 4 à la cartes. Little ones are sorted, too, with their own pool, menu and activity programme, plus a kids’ club with loads of toys and games.
