If you’re after a peaceful holiday base, you’ll love the Casa Amoreira Velha. This pretty, whitewashed villa is nestled in the Algarve countryside, overlooking fields and greenery. Having said that, when you want to get out and explore, you’re only a five-minute drive from Carvoeiro‘s beach, shops and restaurants.
Inside, it’s a traditional set-up. The bedrooms, for example, feature whitewashed walls, dark-wood furnishings and cool tiled floors. And the kitchen comes with mod-cons like an oven, a hob and a fridge-freezer, so it’s easy to whip up meals when you don’t fancy eating out.
