With three pools, freshly-decorated rooms and a great dining scene, this hotel rolls out all the holiday essentials.

This hotel has clinched a quiet spot just outside the centre of Paphos. It’s less than a ten-minute bus ride from the harbour, where cafés and tavernas line up along the water’s edge. If you fancy the walk, just follow the palm-lined path along the seafront. It’ll take you about an hour.

Back at the hotel, the spotlight falls on three swimming pools. The first has a pool bar with a bougainvillea-covered canopy. The second's down by the beach and comes with six waterslides, which are open from May to October. Lastly, there’s the indoor pool – a circular number sitting beneath an ornate glass ceiling.

The rooms have freshly-painted walls and wooden floors, and come with essentials like satellite TVs.

On the dining-front, the main restaurant serves up big buffets and, at breakfast, you can get things like omelettes cooked to order. At lunch, there’s a really popular Chinese buffet. And for afternoon coffee and cakes, there’s a traditional Viennese patisserie.
