Hotel Oceanis Ixia

The Oceanis hotel re-opened in May 2005 after a major refurbishment of the public areas. The luxurious lobby, bar and restaurant areas offer havens to drink, dine or simply relax, but it is the new pool deck and garden area which really steals the show. These facilities would not be out of place in some of the best 5 star hotels on the island! The hotel enjoys a great seafront location with the beach of Ixia just across the coastal road, whilst the bars, rastaurants and shops of central Ixia are just a short stroll away - if you can tear yourself away from the pool. Officially this a 4 star property but due to the wonderful refurbishment of the public areas, in our opinion, this hotel is a 5 star.Just 9km from the airport on the seafront in Ixia. The ancient city of Rhodes with all it's charms is only 6km away.A large outdoor swimming pool with sun terrace, sunbeds and umbrellas. Separate childrens pool. Buffet restaurant, lobby bar with satellite TV, poolside bar serving snacks, reception, safety deposit box facility (small charge locally) Small shopping arcade including shops with gifts, souvenirs, leather, perfumes, jewellery. A hair dressing salon, minimarket, and rent-a-car office.

Accommodation

Tennis Court, Mini Golf, Live music (weekly), Greek theme nights (fortnightly - high season). A variety of watersports are available at the beach for an additional charge which is paid locally. There is a golf course at Afandou which is approximately 20km away.

Packages

Hot snacks are available from the snack bar between 10.00-11.00. Ice cream between 11.00-12.00 and again from 15.00-16.00. Cold snacks are available from the bar between 22.00-23.00
