This place comes up trumps on the location front. It’s set right beside the beach and is tucked into acres of landscaped gardens. Plus, the famous Maspalomas sand dunes are just footsteps away. And when you want to explore a little further afield, Playa del Inglés is an easy ten-minute drive along the coast. Just hail a taxi or hop on the bus that stops close to the hotel.
The property itself has contemporary exteriors, all clean lines and big windows. But head inside and the décor has a classic flavour. Take the bedrooms, for instance. They’re elegantly dressed with cream walls, walnut-wood furniture and heavy swag curtains. They all come with balconies or terraces, too.
Outside, a huge pool sits at the heart of the gardens. It’s edged by palm trees and sun loungers, and comes with an open-air whirlpool bath and snack bar. Elsewhere, the hotel’s pièce de résistance is the spa, which offers up a traditional hammam.
Lastly, a word on food. Theme nights and on-the-spot cooking demos are the order of the day in the main buffet eatery. Elsewhere, there's Krystal fusion restaurant - it’s a good idea to book ahead for this one as it gets pretty busy. There’s a cocktail bar in the garden, too, offering up live music and cabaret-style shows when evening hits.
