This hotel ticks off a pool and spacious apartments, and rounds it all off with a central but peaceful setting.

Pine-clad hills shelter this hotel, giving it an away-from-it-all feel – even though it’s only a 15-minute stroll away from Icmeler’s high street. Fringing the town is a sandy beach that fetches up at 20 minutes away on foot – or a 5-minute drive, if you jump in a taxi. These long sands offer up heaps of sunloungers watched over by waterfront bars.

At the hotel, a pool is parked on a sun terrace with parasols and sunloungers. Children get their own pool, too. Pizza, pasta, and burgers are served up on the poolside bar’s half-shaded terrace – and plates come in adult-sized portions, or pint-sized versions for little ones.

The sand-coloured main building houses a collection of roomy apartments. Each place has a basic kitchenette, as well as a TV and balcony. Homely décor includes a linen-draped dining table and a traditional patterned sofa set.
