The Kos Aktis, or to give it its full name, the Kos Aktis Art Hotel, is a chic retreat in the heart of bustling Kos Town.

The ‘Art’ in the title hints at what lies behind the simple façade of this small hotel. A sleek marble and glass entrance leads into a minimalist lobby accessorised with comfy cream sofas. Light floods in through large windows and your eyes are drawn to the turquoise sea just the other side of the lobby. And it’s here where you can really appreciate the hotel’s unique position.

The bedrooms are understated with their whitewashed walls and trendy wooden furniture. They come with large beds, satellite TVs and minibars. Not to mention the private balconies.

Downstairs you’ll find a restaurant-come-cocktail bar. H2O is a modern, trendy take on dining. Think polished wooden floors, stark white walls and arty tables and chairs.
