If you like your hotels pretty, peaceful and with plenty of personality, this family-run number deserves to be on your shortlist. Think whitewashed walls, terracotta roof tiles and a spacious sun terrace that’s spot on for a spell in the sun. At the heart lies the pool, with a separate section for little ones. Families are welcome here – but it tends to be more of a hit with couples. Head inside, and crisp, white interiors with cool tile floors bring the holiday vibe indoors. It’s recently been refurbished so it’s got a really fresh feel to it. There’s a restaurant here, too, where you can get your day off to a good start with a buffet breakfast. For lunch and dinner, if you’re not going for the self-catering option, try some of Lassi’s bars and restaurants. A 20-minute walk – or a five minute taxi if you don’t fancy tackling the hill – will bring you to the centre, where you’ll find plenty of choices on the food front.
