If you’re looking for a hotel with an exclusive edge, it has to be the Mabely Grand.

Set on a hillside spanning a cape of outstanding natural beauty, the Mabely Grand Hotel is Zante’s original 5 star hotel. And thanks to its contemporary Grecian architecture, jaw-dropping backdrop and full range of facilities, it’s easy to see why.

Location-wise, it’s got a real away-from-it-all feel. But that doesn’t mean you’re totally cut off. Zante’s famous Shipwreck Cove is just 15 minutes away by car, and you can be in Zante Town in half an hour. If you’re planning on doing lots of exploring, it’s well worth hiring your own set of wheels.

But with so much to do at the hotel, staying put is an attractive option. Take the pool scene. You’ve got two outdoor pools to choose from – both bordered by comfy loungers and Kodak-worthy views of the Ionian Sea.

Inside, the Mabely exudes classic style. Marble floors, over-sized woven rugs and plush, sprawl-on-me sofas give the place a luxurious feel. As for the bedrooms, you’ll find a range of rooms or private bungalows on offer. They’re decorated in warm tones, with big beds dressed in Egyptian cotton taking centre-stage. Balconies or terraces add the finishing touches.

On the food front, the main restaurant serves up international buffets alongside Mediterranean specialities handpicked daily by the hotel chef.
