A friendly vibe and a great location make the Nicon Apartments a good budget option.

If trips to the beach are high on your holiday wish-list, this place is ideal. The sand-and-shingle stretch of Paradisi Place Beach is less than a 5-minute walk away. And you can reach the buzzy shores of Kos Town in about 30 minutes – or less than 5 if you take the bus.

The apartments themselves are spread across four low-rise, whitewashed buildings. Step inside and you’ll be met by cream walls, fresh white beds and classic pine furniture. All apartments come with basic kitchenettes, too - perfect for rustling up light meals. And they all have a balcony or terrace, so you can dine al fresco when you fancy.

Back outside, there’s a good-sized pool framed by parasols and loungers. There’s a pool bar, too, and a covered terrace offering a bit of shade. Plus, there’s another pool for children, with a playground.

In terms of things to do here, the weekly Greek night is really popular with guests. Expect barbecued food, belly dancing and a really friendly atmosphere. Plus, you’ll find plenty more in the way of restaurants and bars along the seafront - just take a wander down to the beach.
