The Ronil Beach Resort has a top-rate setting, with a sandy beach and Baga’s stalls, bars and restaurants within easy walking distance.

The Ronil Beach Resort is a good choice if you want a convenient base. To start with, the property is just a five-minute walk from Baga Beach, where you’ll find sunbeds, watersports and restaurants along the sand. What’s more, you’re right in the centre of Baga, within strolling distance of its shops, restaurants and lively nightspots.

When you feel like staying put, the hotel offers two swimming pools. Both are a good size and set into terraces framed by palm trees and sunloungers.

The rooms here are comfortable and fuss-free, with whitewashed walls and simple furnishings the mainstays. Each one comes with a satellite TV, air-conditioning and a balcony or terrace, too.

As for food, the buffet breakfasts are generous affairs, with sausages, fried eggs and cereals laid out at the poolside restaurant. At lunch and dinnertime, the waiters serve dishes revolving around fresh seafood and Goan, Indian and Chinese cuisine.
