Right in the heart of Sunny Beach, the brand new Royal Sun Apartments are perfectly placed getting out and about.

This just-built place is across the road from Sunny Beach’s eight-kilometre sandy sweep. The beach is hemmed by a fantastic choice of shops, bars and restaurants so, location-wise, you couldn’t ask for more.

The apartments themselves have got a smart, contemporary vibe – all creamy walls, burnt-orange sofas and beech-wood furniture. They come with kitchenettes and dining areas, too, so they make comfy home-from-homes. Modern trimmings like satellite TVs, air-conditioning and internet access complete the picture.

On the dining front, exposed stone walls strike a modern vibe in the main restaurant. Elsewhere, the cocktail bar features cushioned wicker sofas, bamboo-print wallpaper and glass-topped tables.

Step outside and things are just as good-looking. The whole place is cocooned by landscaped gardens, but it’s the pools that really steal the show. There are three to choose from, including one that comes with its own island and bridge. Add a separate children’s pool to the mix, as well as a series of roomy sun terraces, and it’s easy to while away sunny days here.
