The house itself is very much rural in style, offering up a little bit of Spanish authenticity in the shape of the tiled floors and beamed ceilings. These old world touches are complemented with modern and comfortable furnishings. But it’s outside that this place really comes into its own. Out on the terraces show stopper views greet you.

Given this scene, what better way to laze your days away than by a private pool? A slab of turquoise, it’s accessorised with sunbeds and parasols. Meanwhile, tables, chairs and a barbecue on a separate terrace offer the perfect setting should you fancy some alfresco dining.

Elsewhere, if you want to get out and about, you’re just a stroll from the nearest restaurant. Slightly further afield, but still well worth a visit, is the little town of Frigiliana and the Caves of Nerja. And, for the truly adventurous, why not make a trip to Granada to take in the splendour of Alhambra Palace? It’s all here on your doorstep.
