Location

The property is built in a village style with a main building and several two-floor bungalows. Surrounding the complex are pleasant gardens and plenty of places to relax and enjoy the sun. Those looking for a little more nightlife should head for Kardamena or Kos Town.

The island of Kos is a great place to go if you are looking for plenty of water sports, especially windsurfing with plenty of chances to try on offer at the beaches, along with diving centres so you can even go out on scuba diving excursions and lessons for a memorable experience. Kos is the 3rd largest island of the Greek islands and along with Rhodes is one of the more popular choices for tourists and holidays. The island?s town is Kos Town with a mixture of Venetian, Ottoman and modern architecture makes for interesting days out should you choose to explore its many shops, caf?s and restaurants. The island also offers several historical and fascinating sites that are well worth a visit with ancient castles and monuments such as the Roman Odeon coliseum and the Nerantzia Castle.

The Gaia Royal Hotel features 3 outdoor pools set in the attractive gardens of the property, along with 3 separate pools for children and a large terrace with loungers/parasols provided to help you make the most of the sun when not down at the beach.

Meals

The Gaia Royal features a restaurant with a terrace in the main building of the resort. The restaurant offers is open all day with an American buffet for breakfast, along with a buffet lunch and a complete buffet service for dinner. Themed nights are also organised at the restaurant with Greek nights and other special nights.

In addition the resort has several bars that provide a range of refreshments and drinks throughout the day, which includes two pool/snack bars and the main bar/lounge.

The 285 rooms at the Gaia Royal offer guests a choice of accommodation with well-furnished double rooms suitable for 2 people, small apartments with a separate bedroom for up to 3 people and the two-floor maisonette big apartments with two bedrooms for up to 4 people. There are also the studio rooms that offer a combined sleeping/living area and all the apartments come with a kitchenette and a private bathroom.
