Hotel Anthemis details
The Hotel Anthemis is set in a raised position overlooking the Aegean Sea, so sweeping views are one of its major brownie points. It’s only a couple of minutes’ walk from Kokkari’s town centre and the nearest shops, bars and tavernas, and just five minutes from the beach.
The property itself looks typically Greek – expect whitewashed exteriors, exposed stone walls and terracotta roof tiles. The whole place is surrounded by palms and greenery, too, with chunky plant pots providing the final touches.
One of the best things about this place is the fact there are only six rooms here. There’s no reception – you’re checked in and out by the owner, so things feel personal and laid-back. Plus, each room comes with a balcony that looks out over the sea.
