As the name suggests, this hotel is really close to the beach. Set in the heart of Kokkari, along the road that runs along the waterfront, it’s just a few minutes away from a smooth pebble beach. And that’s not all about the location - the hotel has got bars and tavernas more or less on its doorstep, too.
Made up of just 47 rooms, the Kokkari Beach Hotel is a small-ish, three storey affair, trimmed with elegant balustrades. The rooms are simple and decorated in bright boutique-y colours – apple green, burnt orange, bold red and cool cream – and delicate muslin drapes add the finishing touches along with facilities like air-conditioning and satellite TVs.
The pool, meanwhile, is surrounded by canopied pergolas and elegant wooden sunloungers. Plus there’s a decked area that looks out to sea dotted with tables, parasols and directors’ chairs – the perfect spot to enjoy a drink in the sunshine.
On the food front there’s a buffet restaurant, serving up a variety of Greek cuisine for lunch and dinner. All in all, a very pleasant little hotel in a great spot.
